Was asked by a follower on the post regarding 'trends'. Actually I was commenting on a fellow trader's assertion that the 'trends that enabled the gurus like Larry Williams to make big money' aren't around anymore. trend is defined as a 'general tendency to move in one direction'. But it is a case of KST (Know Sure Thing). So if you are trading in what you perceive as 'trend' the odds are only better than trading against the trend.

Timeframe is important. The bigger the timeframe, like the weekly charts of Aussie, Gold and Unisem, the more endearing the trends, bigger rewards and also bigger risks.
